The reservation by the customer implies the acceptance of these general conditions of sale in their entirety.
This document prevails over all other conditions present in any other document1.1 General and reservation conditions for the services offered by TransbagagesThe services offered by Transbagages operate only on reservation. The request for a quote does not constitute a reservation in any way. They can be booked by email, by phone or through our online reservation system on our website www.transbagages.com. The reservation must be confirmed by our teams after payment of the service by email or telephone to be insured.
A voice message on our email does not constitute a valid reservation and will not be taken into account by our services.
The services offered by Transare provided within the limit of transport vehicles and drivers available. If your reservation cannot be guaranteed by our services we reserve the right to cancel the reservation at any time and at least 24 hours before it is made. We will provide a full refund.
2. The services
Transhas taken out insurance covering its professional civil liability with COMPAGNIE ET ADRESSE
Transprovides a regulated freight and passenger transport service. Registered in the register of carriers of passengers and goods in the department of Lozère, the company holds the licenses necessary for its activity.
Transreserves the right to outsource the service to certain professionals. In the event of subcontracting, you will be informed and we will let you know the name of the subcontractor concerned by your request. We remain your contact person.
The customer remains solely responsible for booking accommodation and for developing these steps. Transonly serves the following places of accommodation: lodgings, campsites, hotels and bed and breakfasts.
2.1 Luggage transportIn 1998, Trans-Baggages created the luggage transport service. This service consists in taking your luggage in an accommodation previously booked and communicated to our services, in order to transport them during the day to your next accommodation.
We can transport your luggage from stage to stage on 9 hiking trails within the limits of the areas served by our services:
- Camino de Santiago: from Puy-en-Velay to Conques
- Stevenson path: from Puy-en-Velay to Saint-Jean-du-Gard
- The Régordanes route: from Puy-en-Velay to Vézénobres
- The path of Urbain V: from Nasbinals to Vézénobres
- Tarn Gorges: from Florac to Rozier
- The whole course on the 4 other paths.
When booking, the customer must specify all the stages and accommodations as well as the number of bags to be carried. The customer undertakes to inform the accommodations of the collection and deposit of their luggage as well as the name of our company: Trans.
The luggage can be either a suitcase or a bag. It must have a maximum weight of 15kg, closed in a single container. Any bag, additional equipment, or other item outside of the container that is considered “baggage” is considered to be additional baggage and will be charged as such.
If your luggage exceeds the regulatory weight of 15kg, we will ask you to please separate it into 2 separate containers. The transport of this additional bag will be invoiced to you at the current rate that was communicated to you for your first bag. You will be notified by our services via a sticker attached to your suitcase. We will invite you to pay for your additional luggage using the QR code within 2 days after warning. Without action on your part we will cancel your transport to preserve the health of our drivers and without possible reimbursement. At the time of payment you can choose to order a bag to constitute your additional luggage. You will receive it the next day, on simple request for €5.
The distance between two stages must be a maximum of 35km beyond, we consider one additional stage per 35km that you will have to pay in addition. The luggage to be carried must be made available in your accommodations from 8:00. It will be delivered to you at the place of accommodation indicated by you before 18:00. Your luggage will be delivered to your next accommodation and sent to our services.
Any luggage that is not available at 8 am in the accommodation will not be carried or refunded. The customer will remain responsible for his luggage as well as for the costs he will choose to incur to have it transferred to another company.
Each bag must be identifiable on the first day of the transfer with the name linked to the reservation:
• LUGGAGE CARRIERS,
• Your first and last name,
• Your mobile phone number
• The number of bags

We will then attach our labels for the rest of the trip.
Any luggage that is not clearly identified will not be carried or refunded. The customer will remain responsible for his luggage as well as for the costs that the customer will choose to incur to have it transferred to another company.
The customer remains responsible for his luggage, in particular in the event of theft or damage to the place of accommodation, the place of collection or deposit. Transbagages is responsible for luggage only during transport.
The customer undertakes that his luggage does not contain valuable objects (greater than €50), fragile objects or medications.
The reservation can be made no later than the day before for the next day at 7 p.m., beyond that, the service may be canceled. 2.2 Transport of peopleOur service allows you to return to your starting point at the end of your hike, or to be transported to your next stop in the direction of travel. We will transport you in vehicles, such as “minibuses” or others. Transreserves the right to use a coach operator with driver in case of high traffic. The transport price includes one person and their luggage. During the transport of persons, luggage remains under the care and responsibility of the persons transported.
The customer can book from our reservation platform by indicating the date, the city of pick-up and the time chosen from our fixed schedules. Our schedules are indicative, it is possible that our drivers are early or late depending on road hazards, weather... the customer will be notified of these hazards using the telephone number provided in the reservation.
For each stage, we have predefined stops, to choose personalized door-to-door care from your accommodations, the customer can choose the paid option at 2€. Our shuttle can give access to your dog provided you have notified us in advance. For small dogs (-10kg), the customer must absolutely keep them between their legs and pay the amount of €5 (corresponding to the cost of cleaning the hair). For dogs weighing more than 10kg, this one taking the place of a passenger, the customer will have to pay the same amount for his animal as he paid for its transport. For any transport of a dog, the animal remains under the sole care and responsibility of the person transported that it accompanies.
The reservation can be made no later than the day before for the next day at 7 p.m., beyond that, the service may be canceled depending on the remaining places available. 2.3 Vehicle transfer The customer can have his vehicle sent from the starting point of the hike to your point of arrival. Transoffers this service on 3 routes: the road to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle (from Puy-en-Velay to Conques) the path of Stevenson and the path to Saint-Guilhem. Bookings can only be made from our website. The customer must specify the place of collection and deposit of the vehicle as well as the information concerning the vehicle (brand, color, license plate...)
The service is available for a minimum amount of 50€
The conclusion of the contract and the finalization of the order for a conveying service are subject to the prior signature of the “vehicle transfer contract” and the inventory of the vehicle on the day the keys are handed over.
The customer must ensure that the vehicle is in a condition that can be driven safely.
The vehicle to be transferred must benefit from valid insurance taken out for “all drivers”. The customer remains solely responsible for theft or any other damage that may affect the Vehicle and any property it contains, in particular when parking the Vehicle in private or public parking areas.
The reservation must be made no later than one week before the start of the service. Delivery will take place between 24 and 72 hours before your arrival. The customer must take the necessary measures to notify the host. If the accommodation provider has not been notified or cannot receive your vehicle, we will park it in a parking space, preferably free of charge, possibly outside the destination city. If we have to incur costs to park your vehicle, the customer agrees to pay them. The customer remains responsible for his vehicle as well as for the costs that will be charged in the event of a parking ticket or expenses incurred to recover the vehicle.
3. Online booking platformTransBaggages reserves the right at any time and without notice to add or remove routes, or stages in routes.
You can book all of our services directly by selecting the desired route and then clicking on “book my transport”. You can then proceed with the online payment.
Your reservation implies acceptance of all of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The data recorded by Jotform (online reservation solution) and Stripe (payment solution) constitute proof of transactions made on the site between Transand its customers. 4. Rates and paymentOur rates are available on all “path” sheets. All our prices are inclusive of VAT and include VAT. This price includes the total price for the service (s) booked.
Transreserves the right to change its rates at any time, excluding the prices of services already booked.
The following methods of payment are accepted: Cash, checks, bank transfers, bank cards (Visa and Master Card).
When paying by Credit Card or bank transfer, the reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the amount due.
If payment is made by check, the reservation is considered confirmed only as soon as the check has been cashed.
Transreserves the right to refuse or cancel any new reservation from a customer with whom a dispute exists. Cancellation costs and modality The customer has a legal withdrawal period of 14 days from the date of payment of the service to cancel the services chosen free of charge unless the service (s) has (were) fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period. If the entire service is not performed in full, the customer must pay the amount corresponding to the services provided until the customer decides to stop it.

The customer can cancel his reservation under the following conditions:

CANCELLATION OF PASSENGER TRANSPORT
Any reservation may be cancelled by the customer under the following conditions:

* 3 days before the service: full refund
* 2 days before the service: reimbursement up to 50%
* Less than 2 days of the service: no refund
In accordance with the cancellation conditions set out above, we will refund the overpayment to you.

Depending on the cancellation conditions specified above, we will refund the excess amount using the same payment method that was used during your initial payment.

Please note that a file management fee of €5 will be applied to each refund and automatically deducted from the refunded amount.

CANCELLATION VEHICLE TRANSFER
Any reservation may be cancelled by the customer under the following conditions:

+ 2 weeks before the service
: reimbursement up to 50%
- 2 weeks before the service : no refund

Depending on the cancellation conditions specified above, we will refund the excess amount using the same payment method that was used during your initial payment.

Please note that a file management fee of €5 will be applied to each refund and automatically deducted from the refunded amount.

CANCELLATION OF LUGGAGE TRANSPORT
Until the day before in the evening 6 p.m.
: 100% refund.
The day before : No refund

Beyond the no refund possible.

Depending on the cancellation conditions specified above, we will refund the excess amount using the same payment method that was used during your initial payment.

Please note that a file management fee of €5 will be applied to each refund and automatically deducted from the refunded amount.
According to the cancellation conditions indicated above, we will refund the overpayment using the same payment method used by the customer.
For any reimbursement, a fee of €5 will be retained on the client's account, corresponding to the file management fees.
A modification of the service by Transto meet the customer's request cannot be considered as a cancellation of the service.6 Complaint and litigation Transcannot be held responsible, or considered as having failed in its obligations, for any delay or non-performance when it results from a case of force majeure as defined by law. Also the impediment of Transdue to bad weather, strikes, strikes, road works, road works, traffic density, transhumance, road accidents, and any events reasonably beyond the control of Trans, will be considered as a case of Force Majeure.
Transwill notify the customer as soon as possible and will do its utmost to meet its obligations, but may be delayed or cancelled without compensation.

The customer's personal data is collected via the website or directly from our services. The personal information collected is necessary to process your requests.
The recipient of the data is Transas well as its subcontractors for the execution of a service (taxi, transport service, etc.).
In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the following rights:
• Right of access: you can obtain information relating to the processing of your personal data, and a copy of it.
• Right to rectification: if you consider that your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request that this personal data be amended accordingly.
• Right to erasure: you can request the deletion of your personal data, within the limits of what the law allows.
• Right to limitation: you can request the limitation of the processing of your personal data.
• Right to object: you can object to the processing of your personal data, for reasons relating to your particular situation.
